PROJECT SUPPORT
The NASF provides small-scale, local and direct financial support for projects in Africa in particular. The NASF focuses on projects that contribute to the development of effective, sustainable and accessible health care. Individuals and small local initiatives are given an opportunity to pilot their projects through a small financial injection, a ‘micro gift’, particularly in cases where local donors and larger international development organisations can not (yet) provide support.
The NASF mostly supports projects on a one-off basis. However, there are some projects the NASF has supported for the long-term. Our projects mainly take place in sub-Saharan Africa in the area of health provision or related fields. The NASF supports approximately 30 projects a year with an average contribution of 5,000 euros per project.
