The international Albert Schweitzer Prijs 2025

The Albert Schweitzer Foundation has been supporting small-scale health projects in Sub-Saharan Africa since 1976. In remote places we help vulnerable groups and communities to improve health. With the annual Albert Schweitzer Prijs we want to encourage health pioneers to use their talent for the well-being of others, who are less fortunate. For more than 10 years, we have awarded this true “Pioneer Prize” to the best innovative project.

To celebrate Albert Schweitzer’s 150th birth anniversary this year, we are awarding a special additional prize to the most innovative international health pioneer. You can help determine which of the 3 nominated international initiatives wins this international Albert Schweitzer Prijs this year.
