Nutrition Through Touch – Uganda
Dinsdag 14 april 2026Through this project, children with deafblindness in Uganda and their caregivers receive practical support regarding nutrition and eating. Using special tactile and sensory-based methods, caregivers learn how to better feed their children, despite their visual and hearing impairments.
Local health workers are trained and provide guidance to families with tailored dietary guidance and fortified foods.
This approach ensures that children receive better nutrition, grow up healthier, and are no longer excluded from existing community nutrition programs.
