Sports for Mental Strength Among Vulnerable Teens – Uganda

Dinsdag 14 april 2026

Through this project, vulnerable teenagers with refugee backgrounds in Kampala receive mental health support. By combining sports activities with psychosocial counseling and a digital environment, a safe space is created where young people can express themselves and

connect with others. Local mentors and young people are trained to provide mental health support. Participants work on building self-confidence, social skills, and resilience. In this way, the project helps young people better cope with stress, trauma, and social isolation.
